This office in the Denham Building served as a stock exchange in the gang's classic payoff game.
Roy Samson then visited the stock exchange in the Denham Building, but no one was in the rooms. The suite was admirably adapted to the payoff-game's purposes. It consisted of a private interior hall with three connecting rooms opening from it.
The stock exchange contained much better furniture than that in the Lookout. In the center room a rolltop desk and a long table stood end to end, and on top of the desk was a telephone. Roy Samson picked it up, gave it a slight pull, and the unconnected wire pulled out of the desk drawer. The fake telephone was found!
